Description
Canal Bridge Number 17, also known as Valentine House Bridge, is an accommodation bridge over the Lancaster Canal, built in the 1790s. The engineer responsible for its design was John Rennie. The bridge is constructed from squared sandstone and features an elliptical arch with triple keystones, decorative bands, parapets, and pilastered ends.
