Description

Canal Bridge Number 19, also known as Quaker's Bridge, is a public road bridge over the Lancaster Canal, built in the 1790s. The engineer responsible for its design was John Rennie. The bridge is constructed from squared sandstone and features an elliptical arch with triple keystones. It is adorned with bands, parapets, and pilastered ends.
