Description

The farmhouse and attached barn, dated 1739, are built of coursed rubble stone with a stone slate roof. Decorative moulded kneelers and gutter corbels are visible at the rear. The building is two storeys high. The front elevation features one five-light and one four-light stone mullion window on each floor, with square mullions and surrounds. A gabled porch is a later addition. A gable stack is also present. A staircase window, located at the rear, has a semicircular head with a mullion and transom, and features Gothic tracery glazing. Window and door placement is irregular. To the east of the farmhouse is a barn, which shares the same roofline. It includes a large door with a segmental arch, now glazed, a two-light stone mullion window to the right, and a doorway to the left with chamfered reveals.
