Description

No. 148 on Main Street is an early 19th-century house constructed from pebbledashed rubble and topped with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and features two bays. It includes sashed windows with glazing bars, plain reveals, and stone sills. There are chimney stacks on both gables and in the center of the roof. The left-hand gable is blank, while the right-hand gable has a doorway with a re-set shaped and moulded lintel inscribed 'R R 1691', along with a sashed window with glazing bars and plain reveals on the first floor. This house is included for its group value.
