Description

No. 21 on Bridge Street is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from squared, tooled stone and features a Welsh slate roof with brick chimneys. The building has two storeys and three narrow bays. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with a four-pane overlight above it. The windows are primarily 12-pane sash windows, with a plain sash window on the ground floor to the right and a trompe l'oeil window on the first floor in the centre, all having slightly projecting sills. There are eaves bands along the roofline. The right gable is coped and has a footstone, while there is a tall 20th-century chimney stack on the left end and a smaller one on the right end. This house is included for its group value.
