Description

The Horseless Carriage is a pair of houses, now combined, dating from the early 18th century. The exterior is rendered and cream-washed, with a black-painted plinth and sills. It features a 20th-century concrete tile roof and brick stacks. The building has two storeys and consists of four bays, with the right section having a pair of renewed doors, one of which leads into a former through passage, positioned to the left of a plain shop window. The other windows are all 12-pane sashes with slightly projecting sills. The structure has coped gables and end stacks.
