Description

No. 170 is a house dated 1796, as indicated by a plaque. It is constructed of pebbledashed rubble and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys. To the left of the door, there is an 8-pane sash window with vertical glazing bars and plain reveals. The first-floor window consists of a double sash separated by a square stone mullion. The door surround is made of plain stone, and the door itself has raised and fielded panels with re-entrant corners, along with a brass latch. A chimney is located on the left side of the house. Inside, there is a shouldered stone fireplace with a moulded stone mantel.
