Description
Tudor Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century that has been altered. It is constructed of pebbledashed rubble and has a slate roof. The building features a two-unit plan with end stacks, and there is a third unit on the left that projects forward and has been converted for domestic use. The house is two storeys high and includes a gabled stone porch.
The main house has five windows: two on the ground floor and three on the first floor, all of which are casements with glazing bars set in rebated and chamfered surrounds. The left-hand windows on both floors retain one mullion each. The left-hand projecting unit has a reconstructed chamfered window surround with one mullion. On the first floor of this unit, there are two windows; the left one is fixed with glazing bars, while the right one has some remnants of a chamfered surround. At the rear, there is an outshut that retains some chamfered window surrounds.
Inside, there is a shouldered stone fireplace of 18th-century style, which has been plastered over.
