Against the left-hand return wall there is a lean-to projection. Chimneys to left and right of Post House. The rear (north-east) wall of The Cottage is similar to its other facade. The doorway is in the lean-to at the right and has a moulded surround with embattled lintel insribed: '18 S 92'. The rear wall of Post House has some rebated and chamfered mullioned windows.
