Description
Whittington Farmhouse and the adjoining barn, likely built in the mid-18th century, are constructed of pebbledashed rubble and feature a slate roof. The farmhouse is two storeys high with three bays. The windows have surrounds that are slightly chamfered and flat-faced mullions. The ground floor windows consist of three lights, while the first floor has two lights in the outer bays and a single light in the central bay. The central bay contains a door with a chamfered surround and a battlemented lintel, which is probably re-set and painted with the date '1671'. The barn, located to the right of the farmhouse, is mostly blank except for a threshing door with plain reveals. The wider shippon end of the barn projects slightly forward.
