Description

No. 19 is a farmhouse dating to 1744, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with a slate roof, and has a 2-unit plan with end stacks. The original plan included two bays, featuring sash windows with glazing bars set in plain reveals. Fragments of sandstone within the reveals of the left-hand bay’s windows suggest they are remnants of the original 18th-century windows. The doorway has plain reveals and a 19th-century door with raised and fielded panels. A barn with a continuous roof adjoins the farmhouse to the west. The barn has a wide segmental-arched entrance and a further door with plain reveals.
