Description

This is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of limestone rubble with sandstone dressings and a slate roof. It follows a central-entry plan and incorporates gable stacks. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. It features sash windows with glazing bars, plain stone surrounds, and square-sectioned labels. A later gabled stone porch now extends across the original plain stone door surround, which has a cornice hood. The right-hand gable includes a modern fixed window with glazing bars and a plain stone surround on the first floor. A lower wing extends to the rear (south-east), featuring a modern window and door with plain reveals on the north-east wall, and a stack on the south-east wall. The south-west wall is reported to have older windows.
