5/62 Perimeter wall on west side of Thurland Castle, with buildings of stable court

GV II

Wall and outbuildings, 1880s. Sandstone rubble. Perimeter wall has buttresses with offsets. At the southern side the wall to the stable court has a moulded pointed arch with hood, and a drip course stepped upwards over the entrance. Around the stable court are single-storey buildings with mullioned windows.
