Description
Tunstall Hall Farmhouse is a house from the mid-18th century, constructed of sandstone rubble and rendered at the front, topped with a slate roof. It has a T-plan layout and stands two storeys high with three bays, featuring chamfered quoins. The windows are sash style with plain stone surrounds. The central bay contains a door with a surround that has cyma moulding forming an ogee shape on the lintel, topped with a triangular pediment. The house has gable chimneys. The rear wing features windows with re-used 17th-century dressings. Inside, the left-hand room includes a moulded shouldered fireplace, while the rear wing has a plain shouldered fireplace.
