Description

Canal Bridge Number 110 is a bridge over the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, built around 1810 by engineers Robert Whitworth and Joseph Priestley. The bridge is constructed of coursed sandstone and features a rounded arch made with rusticated, rock-faced voussoirs and keystones. It has decorative bands and parapets with flat coping that curve out to pilastered ends.
