Description

Canal Bridge Number 111 is a bridge over the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, built around 1810 by engineers Robert Whitworth and Joseph Priestley. The bridge is constructed from dressed sandstone blocks and features a high elliptical arch with rusticated voussoirs. It has bands and parapets that are topped with ridged coping. There is no number plate present on the bridge.
