Description
No. 204 Lytham Road is a cottage from the 18th century. It features white painted render, likely over cobble walling, and has a steeply pitched slate roof with gable chimneys. The cottage has a shallow double-depth, two-bay plan and stands two low storeys high, with an almost symmetrical facade. The entrance consists of a board door that is slightly offset to the right. There are two small horizontal rectangular windows on each floor; the lower floor has three-light casements, while the upper floor has two-light sliding sashes of equal size. A moulded eaves cornice adds detail to the roofline. The left gable is finished with brick above the eaves level, while the right gable is adjacent to No. 202. The interior has not been inspected.
