Description

No. 86 High Street is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It has a rendered and colourwashed exterior with Ham stone dressings and a thatched roof featuring coped gables and brick chimney stacks. The building is two stories tall and has five bays. There are three-light beaded and architraved mullioned windows in the first and third bays, while the other bays have modern casements, except for the upper fifth bay, which is blank. The second bay features a rendered porch with arched side openings and a thatched roof, framing a boarded door. The interior has not been seen. The cottage is attached on the west side to No. 88.
