Description
Chorley Unitarian Chapel is a chapel, believed to date from the early 18th century, which has been extended and altered. It is constructed from coursed stone blocks and features a stone slate roof. The building is a rectangular single cell with a short 20th-century extension at the south end. The front (east side) has a chamfered plinth that is interrupted by two plain doorways, which flank two tall cross windows. The rear also has two similar windows, while the north gable features an arched cross window with Y-tracery in the head. The interior has been modified to provide a longitudinal orientation.
