Description
Park House and Wesley House is an early 19th-century house that was formerly the residence of a Methodist minister and is now divided into flats. The building is constructed of sandstone with an ashlar facade and features a slate roof with various gable chimneys. It has a double-pile plan and includes a later staircase wing that is set back at the left end. The house stands three storeys tall, with a basement and attic. It has a moulded cornice and a plain parapet. The facade consists of four bays, with the entrance located in the third bay, which features a porch supported by Doric columns and topped with a triglyphed entablature. The windows are sashed and do not have glazing bars. The staircase extension on the left side has a rock-faced finish. At the rear, there is a short gabled two-storey extension that includes a round-headed window. Inside, there are two contemporary staircases with stick balusters.
