Description

The post and railings along the raised section of Park Road on the east side were built in the early 19th century and extend approximately 80 meters from the junction with Church Brow. At the south end, there is a cylindrical stone post about 2.5 meters high topped with a large stylized acorn finial. The railings consist of round sticks with knobbed heads above the rail, arranged in groups of 17, separated by shaped posts that also feature acorn finials.
