Road bridge over Leeds-Liverpool Canal. c1790-96; engineer, Robert Whitworth. Coursed squared sandstone. Semi-elliptical arch with rusticated voussoirs, plain band, and parapets with ridged coping; concave curved abutments with rectangular terminal piers; humped deck with remains of sandstone paving.
