Description

This structure consists of two piers and an adjoining lakeside wall, dating from the early 18th century. The wall is built of English bond brick and features stone coping. The piers are square in shape, with bead-moulded corners, and have a moulded cornice and plinth. The wall is topped with a rounded moulded coping that sweeps up to meet the piers. Historical records, such as Harris's painting from 1751, depict the piers adorned with urns.
