Description

Davenportgreen Farmhouse, now a house, dates from the 18th century and may incorporate earlier fabric. The building is constructed of brick with a thatched roof. It has a three-unit baffle-entry plan with a rear wing, partly of the 20th century, and one and a half storeys plus an attic. The 20th-century porch obscures the entrance, and a window to the left and two windows to the right have cambered brick arches and three-light casement windows. Three eyebrow dormers are situated above, and there are two ridge stacks. The south gable displays an exposed timber roof truss and a 18th-century sundial mounted on a wall.
