Description
The outbuildings to the north of Newall Green Farmhouse are a Grade II listed structure dating from the 18th century, with alterations. They are constructed from handmade brick and feature slate roofs. The buildings are arranged in an L-plan, consisting of a four-bay main range oriented north-south and a three-bay wing that projects to the east at the north end.
The main range has two storeys and includes a wooden lintel above a former wagon entrance at the right-hand end, along with segmental-headed doorways and windows arranged as follows: door, window, window, window, window, door, window, door. There are also two square loading doors on the first floor. The wing has similar openings at the ground floor, arranged as window, door, door, window, door, window, door, and features three square loading doors alternating with diamond-pattern breathers on the first floor. The rear and interior of the buildings were not inspected.
