Description
This building, originally a house and now divided into five cottages, dates back to 1676, as indicated by the datestone marked "RW MW GW 1676." It features irregularly coursed squared rubble with a graduated stone slate roof and brick chimney stacks. The structure is L-shaped and consists of two stories, with outshuts and a 20th-century extension at the rear.
The building has five bays, characterized by stone quoins and four square-cut stone door surrounds. Notable windows include a five-light double-chamfered stone mullion window with a hoodmould, a three-light window with removed mullions, a casement window, and a three-light flat-faced stone mullion window on the ground floor. The first floor contains two casement windows, two three-light mullion windows (also with removed mullions), and a copy of the same. There are two ridge chimney stacks on the roof.
