Description
This building is an outbuilding located to the north of Wybersley Hall, originally constructed in the 18th century with a significant addition in the 19th century. It serves as a carriage house and stables, featuring colourwashed dressed stone, brick additions, and a slate roof. The structure has three bays and two storeys, with a blocked central carriageway and haylofts above. Notable architectural details include stone quoins and crow-stepped gables. The carriageway is highlighted by a semi-elliptical keystone arch, flanked by semi-circular headed doorways on either side, each with keystones and fanlights. Bays one and three are adorned with three-light flat-faced stone mullion windows, and there are three ashlar dressed pitching eyes on the first floor. The brick addition is not considered of special interest.
