Description
Woodbank Farmhouse is a house built around 1830. It features rusticated stucco on the exterior, a hipped roof made of Welsh slate, and four plastered chimneys. The house is symmetrical and has two storeys with three bays, where the end bays slightly project and are topped with triangular pediments that have a modillion cornice. The windows are tripartite horned sashes without glazing bars, set in plain reveals and separated by square wooden pilasters that include a moulded panel and scrolled console. Above these windows, there are more horned sashes without glazing bars in plain reveals. The first and second storeys have plastered projecting bands, and the pediments contain blocked circular lights. The central bay features a wide elliptical arch over 20th-century glass doors with marginal lights, complemented by a fine fanlight with radial glazing bars. There is also a sash window without glazing bars above the central entrance.
