Description

The Sacred Trinity War Memorial is made of rough-hewn granite and is situated in the churchyard of the Church of the Sacred Trinity, which is listed as Grade II*. The memorial features a wheel-head cross atop a shaft that rises from a square plinth, which is set on a two-stepped base. The cross head displays a Sword of Sacrifice, which also runs down the shaft. The plinth has polished smooth panels that list the names of the fallen, along with a dedication that reads "TO THE GLORY OF GOD/ AND IN MEMORY OF/ (125 NAMES)/ PRO PATRIA OBIT 1914 – 1918."
