Description
The building is a Scout Headquarters located to the north of Wardle Methodist Church. Originally built in the early 19th century as a chapel and later used as a Sunday school, it features watershot stone construction with a stone slate roof. The structure is two stories high and has a central entrance flanked by a gabled side entrance porch. It has three bays with a stone plinth, quoins, and decorative banding. The windows and doors have semi-circular openings with impost blocks and keystones, including one on the gable end. All windows are fitted with marginal glazing bars. The side elevations consist of two bays, while the rear has three bays, all treated in a similar architectural style.
