Description
Nos. 2 and 4 Lawflat are two houses built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from watershot stone and feature a stone slate roof. Each house is three stories tall, one room wide and two rooms deep. The entrance to each house is on the right, with square-cut monolithic jambs and a lintel. The ground and first floors have four-light flat-faced mullion windows, with two of the mullions removed. The top floor features six-light "weaver's windows," where two lights in each unit have been blocked in. The windows have 20th-century casements, except for the rear top floor, which still has its original multi-paned casements.
