Description
Hollingworth Fold is a house dating from 1727, as indicated by the datestone. It is constructed of hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has a two-unit, two-storey layout with a 20th-century outshut at the rear. Notable architectural details include quoins and a projecting plinth. The central door has a dressed surround, and there are three and four-light chamfered mullion windows on the ground floor, with two three-light windows on the first floor, although only one mullion remains. The gable chimney stack has been rebuilt in brick. At the rear, there are two two-light windows, both of which have had their mullions removed. Additionally, a door and a 16-pane sash window have been inserted into the left gable. Internally, the house features chamfered floor beams.
