Description

This is a barn located immediately north of Nos. 1 and 3 Whittaker Fold, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has quoins and opposed cart entries with square-cut surrounds and elliptical arches, along with a circular pitching hole above. There are doors with square-cut surrounds on either side, with the right door flanked by two pitching holes. The barn has coped gables and a loft hatch in the right gable, as well as two pitching holes on the left return. It is included for its group value.
