Description
These are two pig sties located approximately 20 meters southeast of Ashworth Fold Farmhouse, dating from the 19th century. They are constructed from watershot stone and feature a stone slate roof with stone ridge tiles. The sties are semi-detached and have an enclosed pen at the front, which includes a covered area created by the projecting eaves. A stone-flag dividing wall separates the pens. The enclosing walls are topped with triangular stone copings, and the gateposts, which have tooled diagonal patterns, also feature triangular heads. There are vent holes in the gables and moulded stone gutter brackets.
