No. 57 Faulkner Street is a mid to late 19th-century textile warehouse that has been converted into a shop and offices. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with the ground floor painted red and sandstone dressings. It has a narrow rectangular plan that extends back to Reyner Street, featuring a basement and five storeys, although the top floor has been added or altered. The façade has three windows, each with sill-bands on all floors; the top two floors also have bands of brick modillions beneath them. The ground floor includes a doorway on the left with a panelled stone surround and altered doors, while the right side has altered windows beneath a canopy of green Chinese pantiles. The upper floors feature windows with gauged brick heads, with the first-floor windows having altered glazing and those above consisting of four-pane sashes. The interior has not been inspected. This building is part of a significant group of structures and is included for its group value.
