Description

Lower Walshaw House is a 2-storey building dated "1779" on the upper wall. It features a symmetrical design and is constructed of lime-washed brick. The ground floor has five 19th-century horned sash windows. A panelled door is set in a porch supported by fluted Ionic columns and topped with a dentilled cornice. A rainwater head at the corner is marked with the letters "A:B". The building has moulded stone eaves and a slate roof. There are later additions at the rear.
