Description
The outbuilding to the north of Tottington Hall is likely from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble, which is partly squared and partly coursed, and stands two storeys high. The gable ends are probably original or early, with the west gable featuring a late 17th century or early 18th century three-light stone-mullioned window that has a drip-mould on the ground floor. Above this, there is an oval window, likely from the 18th century, with a flat surround that is keyed on each axis. The east gable includes an oculus with a bevelled surround, set within a square block, probably dating from the 18th century. The long sides of the building have numerous sash windows, which were likely added in the early 19th century, although they currently feature 20th-century glazing in a Georgian style.
