Description
The boundary wall of Spring Street Methodist Church is located on the south, east, and north sides of the church. It features coursed gritstone walling topped with ashlar copings, along with gate piers, wrought iron gates, and railings. The wall stretches approximately 150 meters in length and varies in height, reaching over 2 meters at the north end of the east wall and stepping down to less than 1 meter at the south end. The elaborate wrought iron gates and railings are designed in the Art Nouveau style, with double gates featuring scrolled and tulip-style panels located at the southeast corner, the center, and the north end of the roadside wall. The gate piers are square in section and topped with pedimented capstones.
