The tower to the former Church of St. Maxentius, located on Bolton Road in Bradshaw, dates from 1640 and is constructed of coursed rubble. It features two stages, diagonal buttresses, a cornice, and an embattled parapet with roll moulding and splayed merlons. The east side has a pointed arch with half-octagonal responds, now fitted with paired doors, and a line of gable above, along with a round-headed bell opening. On the north side, there is a blocked two-light straight-headed window beneath the bell opening and a water spout above it. The south side also has a water spout positioned above the bell opening.
