Description
No. 3 Martincroft Green is a cottage that likely has origins in the 17th century but appears to have been updated in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brown brick laid in English Garden wall bond and features a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The front door is ledged and battened, with a porch added later. The ground floor has three-light horizontal sliding sash windows with turning pieces and cambered arches, while the first floor has similar windows with flat heads. There are stacks located at the party walls of the adjoining cottages. Inside, the cottage features bevelled beams.
