Description
The Church of All Saints is a parish church built in 1851 by E H Shellard. It features yellow sandstone rubble walling and a slate roof, with four bays and no separate chancel. A vestry was added to the northeast, along with a small entrance porch on the southwest. The church has angle buttresses, an ashlar plinth, and quoins. The windows are designed with reticulated tracery, some of which contain stained glass. At the west gable, there is a twin bell-cot.
Inside, nearly half the length of the church is occupied by the Sanctuary, which includes modern choir stalls, an organ, and an oak pulpit. The altar is adorned with a plain panelled reredos, and there are three brass wall-mounted memorials. The roof features eight gothic trusses with high collars and braces, supported by corbels, along with exposed rafters.
