Description
The Manor House is an early 19th-century house located on Mill Lane in Lymm. It is constructed of pebbledashed brick and features a hipped roof covered with graded grey slate, along with a flush chimney at each end. The house is symmetrical, with two storeys and three windows, which contain 16-pane recessed sash windows. The front door consists of six shaped, fielded panels and is topped by a semi-circular fanlight with curved bars, all set within a Tuscan pedimented case. On the right side, there is a recessed short wing that leads to a former coach-house, which has boarded double doors set in a basket-arched opening. Ornate railings on a stone plinth flank an iron gate, which is supported by square openwork piers topped with urns. The right end of the railing connects to the coach-house. The interior has not been inspected.
