Description
Grantham's Bridge is an accommodation bridge over the Bridgewater Canal, built around 1770 by James Brindley. It is constructed of old red brick and features a deep segmental arch made of brick, resting on stone springers, which is complemented by a plain stone band. The bridge has battered curved abutments and brick parapets topped with plain stone copings.
