Description
The lodge, dating from the mid-19th century, serves Oughtrington Hall, which is now Lymm Grammar School. It is built of buff-grey stone with a hipped roof of grey slate and a single ridge chimney. The building is single-storied. A semi-circular projection to the front has a swept slate roof and three windows. A Tuscan portico with four round columns, the outer ones paired with square corner-columns, is situated at the right end of the lodge and is sheltered by the main roof. The windows are six-pane sashes, with the outer panes slightly narrower than the central panes.
