Description

Hope Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse built of brown brick with a stone slate roof. It has two storeys and two bays. The entrance features a four-panel door set in a wooden frame, topped by a semicircular arch that contains a cast iron radial bar fanlight. The ground floor has recessed sashes with glazing bars, while the upper floor features single bar sashes. There are horizontal sliding sashes on the gables and rear, along with a single old leaded light in a rear outshot. The eaves gutters are made of softwood and rest on moulded timber brackets. The building also has sandstone ridge and gable end stacks.
