Description

This is a group of four 18th-century cottages, located at 45, 47, 49, and 51 High Street. The cottages are constructed of lime-washed brick and have slate roofs. Each cottage has 2-light casement windows in gabled half-dormers, and 2-light horizontal sliding sash windows to the first-floor gable ends. Treble-light casement windows are present at ground-floor level. All facade windows have segmental arched heads. The cottages have boarded front entrance doors set within small timber lattice porches.
