Description

Three cottages stand on Church End, dating to the late 17th century and later rendered in 18th century lime-washed brick, with a thatched roof and plain brick stacks. They are single-storey with an attic, featuring eleven small-paned horizontal sliding sash windows, two lights each, with three having external shutters. Boarded front doors are present. Sections of the original timber framing’s wallplate are visible at eaves level. Internally, cruck trusses are concealed behind plasterwork.
