Description

This is a two-storey, lime-washed brick house located in Church End, Hale, dating from the mid-18th century. The original sandstone ridge has recently been replaced with large concrete tiles. The front facade features two near-flush 16-pane sash windows on each floor, each with flat, rusticated heads. A similar painted window is positioned above the front entrance door, which itself has octagonal panels and a moulded doorcase with cornice. The interior is not considered of particular interest.
