Description

The Tricorn Public House is a former stable building dating from around 1710, which has been altered and is now part of licensed premises. It is constructed of sandstone and features a slate roof, standing at 1½ storeys with 8 bays of varying widths. The facade includes 5 giant Doric pilasters, 2 doorways with broken pediments, and 5 sash windows with moulded stone architraves. There are also 2 large window openings with Gothic heads, one of which now contains a double door, as well as 6 oval windows positioned at a high level. The building is adorned with a band at the level of the pediment and an eaves cornice.
