Description

This is a row of three cottages dating from the early 19th century, located on Castle Road in Halton. The cottages are constructed from brown brick and feature a slate roof. They are two storeys high with one bay each, and have a stone plinth, quoins, and a sill band at the first floor level. The ground floor windows consist of three-light horizontal sliding sashes with turning pieces and arches, while the first floor windows are two-light casements, also with shallow arches. The roof is covered with small slates and has plain brick stacks. The cottages are listed for their group value.
